The team behind pAinapple: Xander, Emile, David — and Spoor.
pAinapple is a small team, not a layer of account managers — just people (and one AI agent) doing the work they actually know.
Xander Blaauw
Sets up AI-agent infrastructure and self-hosted IT. At home that takes the shape of his own homelab: Nextcloud, Immich, Home Assistant, backups with Kopia following the 3-2-1 principle, ZFS pools, everything reachable over VPN. That same approach, set up for a business instead, is exactly what we call the BedrijfsLab for our clients. If it’s about computers, Xander will almost always pitch in — if it’s about AI agents or privacy, that’s where he has the most fun.
Emile Blaauw
Focuses on sales and recruitment: helping companies with their sales process and with finding the right people. He also brings his own AI-driven outreach workflow — hooked into LinkedIn and Clay, driven by an AI agent he calls Frank — which automates outreach and generates high-quality leads.
David Mientjes
Is a general practitioner, and builds the microlearning platform for medical continuing education from that practical experience — short, daily knowledge quizzes for GPs based on NHG-standaarden (Dutch GP clinical guidelines).
Spoor
Not human, but a colleague nonetheless. Spoor is an AI agent with its own user account and its own permissions on pAinapple’s server: it writes code, manages the planning in Linear, and maintains (among other things) this website. Exactly the kind of “unmanned office” we also set up for clients — Spoor is the living proof that it works.
